One of the greatest fears people have is that supernatural happenings occur to you during astral travel. What do we know about that?

Myth 8: You can get possessed during Astral Projection.

Truth: Possessed? This is a very common question in many people's minds, but rest assured there is no danger of being possessed by any other entity. Your Astral Body is attached to your physical body by a Silver Cord. No one else can sever it and enter your body.

It cannot be stressed enough. To be very, very clear here, you are perfectly safe while astral projecting. You are safe because entities need physical matter to tether to, and while projecting you have no physical matter they can tether to. 

Possessions are a possibility when you are in your body. That is why Seances and Ouija boards can be quite dangerous, if not conducted properly and in the right manner. This is because you're actually calling entities to you when you're in your physical body.


But astral travel that way is your own personal journey.

Myth 2: Astral Projection is always spontaneous. You cannot learn it. Truth: My own experience has been that, for me, it has always happened to me. I get taken on an astral journey. I do not wilfully decide to have an out-of-body experience (OBE) . And more often than not, most experiences leave me somewhat tired and not to perky when I wake up. While some of my astral travel experiences have been indescribably beautiful, I have never tried to use any method to project myself into the astral plane. You can learn to Astral Project at will. There are countless techniques that teach you how to have an OBE. Since every individual is different, no particular technique is ideal for everybody. You have to find out which method is best for you. Just like anything good in life, you have to practice and get good at it. In my next blog, I shall address myths about who can or is best suited for the experience.
